 Rick Dupont |
Richard E. DuPont, President and C.E.O. of The DuPont Group, Inc., founded the company in 1988. His initial focus involved the company in the leasing, property management, and improvements of commercial office facilities for REO, ORE and RTC Institutes. These facilities were non-performing assets due to the frail economy of the 1980's. Richard worked toward solving the issues of lease up and disposing of the assets for different Lending Institutes. As the real estate market improved his proven work record and relationship with the various institutions brought his focus to the private sector.
Over the past 20 years, Richard has expanded his own personal portfolio to include numerous commercial office buildings and most recently venturing into the retail area. Due to his experience of developing his privately owned facilities he understands first hand the mechanics of what it means to successfully build, own and manage commercial real estate property.
Richard has strong management skills and reporting techniques to insure asset performance. His first hand knowledge of Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Building Facilities is an overriding factor to his success. He is extremely experienced with building technical operations and procedures. The end results of his construction management skills are a project being completed on schedule and on budget.
Richard reviews departmental management reports and Financial Statements for each asset. His responsibilities include hiring qualified management teams to undertake the supervision of newly acquired assets. He plays an integral part of developing business plans, reviewing budgets, creating marketing strategies, and the disposition of assets. Richard's commitment allows him to oversee a number of employees, projects, and clients simultaneously without losing sight of both immediate tasks and long-range goals.
